| Secluded, but NOT isolated, and nestled against beautiful woodlands in an elevated position, Blenheim Lodge boasts PANORAMIC views of Lake Windermere and the mountains and fells beyond. Peaceful, non-smoking, with 4 AA stars, we offer en-suite rooms, TV lounge, car park, and FREE country club membership. Many bedrooms have lovely antique furniture and Laura Ashley soft furnishings, which complement this 1868 former gentleman’s residence built of Lakeland stone. We are the first guest house in Bowness as you come off the Dales Way, just a minute’s walk from our front door, and are only 5 minutes’ walk to Bowness town, the Lake and pier. We are walker, golfer, biker, cyclist, and fisherman friendly, with two free WAADA fishing permits on a first come first served basis. We have a drying room as well as outside taps for boots and fish, and more level private parking for bikes. We can also help arrange walking and sightseeing tours, and organize fishing and golfing breaks for you. Come and relax with us! Take advantage of our proximity to Bowness town (5 mins walk), but relax in peace & quiet: enjoy excellent lake and countryside views from your rooms - but look for the traffic & crowds in vain! If you require a gift voucher for that PERFECT gift, we will help you organize it for that special person or persons. For the romantic at heart, let us help you celebrate in style with champagne or wine, flowers and luxury chocolates awaiting your arrival! |

Directions
| Take Junction 36 off the M6. Follow signs to Kendal, then Windermere, then Bowness. As you arrive into Bowness from Windermere, you will come to a mini roundabout with a big tree next to it. Turn left, left and left again from the roundabout. You will now face an uphill road, Brantfell Road. Go up to the very top of the road and turn right into the last tarmacked road. Our house is on the left hand side. |
