| Camomile Cottage dates from 1570 and is a grade II listed property with a private appeal, offering high quality bed & breakfast accommodation for only four people at any one time, ensuring your personal comfort is our first aim. We have recently been awarded 4 Star Silver grading by The East of England Tourist Board.
Each room has personal dvd players, comfortable mattresses, fresh flowers, gleaming ensuites with power-showers, handmade soaps, shower gel, hairdryer and fresh cotton towels.
The guest lounge is furnished with comfy sofas to curl up on, kilim rugs, a cosy fire, works of art, flat screen digital tv and period furniture.You are welcome to relax on the patio or in the garden, while on cooler days you can be reassured the luxury of underfloor heating will keep you snug.
The garden room, where breakfast is served overlooks the garden and countryside. Enjoy a relaxed country breakfast, traditional or vegetarian, made from fresh local produce, with free range eggs from our own hens. Ample parking is provided off the lit driveway. A safe lock up is also provided for guests who want to bring along bikes. On your arrival, relax with tea and homemade cake.
Located on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Eye, the cottage is on a peaceful private lane lined with oak trees. Surrounded by atleast an acre of gardens, tended by our resident chickens, it is the perfect place to relax. The seclusion of the cottage ensures your privacy during your stay.
The village of Eye is situated on the river Dove and offers a selection of antique shops, the remains of a small ancient castle and an impressive church and guild hall. |

| Whether you want to simply relax in the cottage and gardens or get out and about there is something for almost everyone within easy reach.
The gently undulating countryside is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike.
Discover the historic towns of Lavenham, Framlingham and Cavendish. While the market town of Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Ipswich are all within 30 minutes drive and Cambridge is only 1 hour away. Stop off for coffee, lunch or dinner at the fabulous Leaping Hare Restaurant at Wyken Vineyards, or visit the beautiful gardens at Bressingham.
The artistic coastal haven of Southwold, home of Adnams beer, the nature reserve at Minsmere,Theatrical Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings and Orford are all within easy reach. Sailing enthusiasts can enjoy activities on the Norfolk Broads near Norwich or on the estruary of the river Deben.
Flatford Mill for Constable lovers is only 40 minutes by car. |

| We are ideally situated in the heart of East Anglia for exploring the historic towns and villages of Suffolk and Norfolk. Lavenham, Kersey, Cavendish, Bury St Edmunds, Southwold, Aldeburgh and Norwich are all within easy reach. From A140 take the B1117 to Eye at The Bull Auberge turning. Follow for 3 miles, at the T junction in Eye turn left towards Diss. Go past the fire station on your left, up Victoria Hill for 0.5 mile. As the road bends left Brome Avenue, a private single track road is on your right. Camomile Cottage is 200 yards along the avenue on your right. |
