Things To Do

Postbridge is right in the middle of Dartmoor National Park - really! It is an excellent base from which you can explore the last wilderness in southern Engalnd. Whether you will be walking, cycling or driving, we can help you decide what todo and see. We are very close to Wistman's Wood, Grey Wethers stone cirles and Grimpspound. The Warren House Inn is just 2 miles away and villages and market towns such as Chagford, Tavistock and Ashburton are just 25 minutes away by car. Buckfast Abbey, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge are also within easy reach. Oh, so much to do....you'll just have to stay longer!

Room 1
Room 1 is the first of our twin bedded rooms, the bathroom next door is shared only with Room 2, the other twin.		Room Rate
£25.00 to £28.00. Discounts for stays of 2 nights, 3 nights and longer.
Room 2
Room 2 is the other twin bedded room with views up through our hay meadows. The bathroom is conveniently is shared only with Room 1. Together rooms 1 and 2 make a nice suite for a family or group of friends.		Room Rate

Room 3
This double bedded room with its high, black beamed ceiling has an en suite shower room with handbasin and WC.		Room Rate
£26.00 to £30.00. Discounts for stays of 2 nights, 3 nights and longer.
Room 4
The family double room is the largest. It has a double bed and a single bed that can be converted into bunks. The ensuite bathroom has bath/shower, washbasin and WC.		Room Rate
£29.00 to £34.00. Discounts for stays of 2 nights, 3 nights and longer.
Room 5
A double bedded room at "our" end of the house. The private bathroom, which only we use during the day, is right next to it.		Room Rate

Directions

We are situated on the B3212, the main road across Dartmoor, and are easy to find. From the direction of Moretonhampstead we are the 3dr house on the left after the cattle grid, from the Two Brdges/princetown direction we are just after the church on the right.
