| Since the late nineteenth century, the 'Can-y-Bae' has provided an elegant escape from everyday life, and now offers fully refurbished AA graded 4 star Guest Accommodation with a relaxed elegance and a contemporary twist at the centre of Llandudno's gently curving promenade.
All our rooms, both sea-view and mountain-view are en-suite with bath, shower or both. All offer complimentary refreshments, direct dial telephone, colour TV, hairdryer, trouser press, iron & ironing board and luxury toiletries; most have lift access and all provide a relaxing environment from which to explore the North Wales heritage resort of Llandudno and surrounding areas. A Wireless Internet connection is available (fee applies) in the reception area, lounge and bar.
Single, twin, double, family and 'four-poster' bedrooms are available, and in some of our rooms we are happy to accommodate well mannered dogs (accompanied by equally well behaved owners) by prior arrangement ~ a small fee applies.
Lift access is available to all Premier Bedrooms.
With Venue Cymru (North Wales Premier Theatre, Arena and Conference Centre) just a short walk away, our fully licensed bar has a theatrical atmosphere and provides a cosy intimate retreat after either a busy working day or an equally busy day enjoying the area and relaxing.
We are proud to provide the best in Welsh hospitality, and offer a full cooked breakfast, morning coffee, light lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Where possible we always try to source fresh ingredients from local suppliers whom we can rely on for quality and taste to give you the best of Wales.
Accessibility: Please note that Can-Y-Bae is a Grade 2 listed building in a conservation area and we are therefore limited to the access we can provide to guests with more limited mobility. There are 4 steps from pavement to front door (with hand rail to the right hand side) and access to the dining room is via 14 steps with hand rail on either side - there is no lift access to the dining room. |

Things To Do
|
| Llandudno has retained all the traditional attractions of its Victorian Origins; a beautifully restored pier, carefully tended gardens, Punch and Judy Show, donkey rides on the beach and a bandstand in regular use. The town is not frozen in time though, as it also provides a bustling shopping centre, year round entertainment and cultural life.
The Great Orme is a holiday adventure in its own right, with plenty to explore. Take the Victorian tramway or the cable car (Britains's longest) to the summit - or clamber up on foot! ~ The views will take your breath away. Try your hand on the 250 metre dry ski slope or the 700 metre toboggan run. Stroll through the Happy Valley Gardens or play a round of golf on one of 10 local golf courses, marvel at the history of the local castles or delve into the mystery and legend of our Celtic ancestors. Llandudno is one of the finest traditional sea-side resorts in the world and 'Can-Y-Bae is the ideal base to explore it all from. |

The family rooms are designed to provide accommodation ideally for 2 adults and 2 children although they can accommodate 4 adults who do not mind sharing the same facilities in a more limited space. Most family rooms overlook the Snowdonia Range of Mountains. All rooms are en-suite with shower, W.C. and wash hand basin; complimentary luxury toiletries are provided.

| By Car:
The A55 is an expressway, proving fast access from the Uk national motorway network. Llandudno is signposted at Junction 19. Can-Y-Bae is located on the sea-front on the centre of the Promenade
By Rail:
We are easy to reach by fast express trains from the main UK rail network. Our most convenient station is Llandudno Town. Virgin Trains now operate a new Euston to Llandudno inter-city service.
By Sea:
Irish Ferries and Stena Line operate both high speed and regular services into Holyhead from Dublin and Dun Laoghaire.
By Air:
There are frequent flights into our nearest international airports located in Manchester and Liverpool - There are then direct transfers to us by road, coach and train. |
