The Riddings is a traditional working smallholding. The farm is nearly a mile from the road with 8 acres to explore including a small wood. Our ensuite family room, which has south-facing views over the unspoilt valley, sleeps 4 plus 1. Facilities include TV, radio, tea and coffee making and wireless broadband connection. Food is sourced locally or home produced if possible. The diningroom and sittingroom are for the exclusive use of guests. Children are welcome, as is one well-behaved dog.

Things To Do

The Riddings is 4 miles from Alton Towers and in the heart of rambling country being close to Dimmingsdale, Hawksmoor, The Staffordshire Way and a short car ride from the Peak District. There are 2 historic steam railways close by, several good golf courses, the Uttoxeter racecourse and some important National Trust houses. We are 30 minutes by road from Stoke-on-Trent, Burton-upon-Trent and Derby and convenient for the picturesque market towns of Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Leek and Bakewell.

A well proportioned ensuite family room with double/twin beds and bunk beds. A cot and an additional full size fold-out bed are available on request.		Room Rate

Directions

Approach Denstone on the B5031. Turn into the village and follow the signs for 'Denstone College'. Go straight up to the front of the college and turn left past the cricket pavillion, squash courts and swimming pool. Go over the cattle grid, at the top of the hill bear left, over another cattle grid and down through the field, turning right at the bottom and over another grid into the farm yard.
The nearest train station is Uttoxeter and there are buses from Uttoxeter to Denstone every hour.
