Just two doorways past Whitby’s Romanesque Arts Centre, our self catering holiday cottage Rooftops sits above Old Whitby’s main shopping street. Looking out of the window you have a fine view across the rooftops and harbour to West Whitby, the Royal Hotel and the celebrated Magpie Café!

The bustling street below leads to the 199 steps that take you to the haunting ruins of Whitby Abbey. On the way you pass numerous inns, tea rooms and jewellers – many selling famous Whitby Jet.

Comfortably sleeping four, with living and sleeping accommodation on separate floors, our self-catering cottage Rooftops offers a modern, relaxed environment from which to enjoy all that Whitby has to offer.
