| So why come to Betws-y-Coed?
Well apart from being in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park, a stones throw from the great mountain, Snowdon (3,560 feet), itself; beautifully natural cascading waterfalls, winding and rushing rivers and an abundance of wildlife....the village is surrounded by the majestic Gwydir Forest and as a result has many walks and cycle rides for the able to the ambitous on its doorstep.

Directions
|
| 1. Travelling out of Betws-y-Coed across the Waterloo Bridge, turn left onto the A470. Travel exactly half a mile……
2. Travelling from the south on the A5, as you near Betws-y-Coed, do not bear left over the Waterloo Bridge, but go into the central reservation and turn right onto the A470, away from the village. Travel exactly half a mile……
3. Travelling from the north on the A55, head towards Llandudno and Conwy then take the junction for Betws-y-Coed A470. Follow this road for approximately half an hour, as you come through Llanrwst you are approximately 4 miles from us. We are on the left hand side just after the Park Hill Hotel………….
Take the turning on your right ‘Lon Muriau’. There are a number of B&B boards on the roadside. Go up Lon Muriau, ignore the first right and then take the second right, you will find Aberconwy House on the left.
