Things To Do

Wickham house affords easy access to the Lincolnshire coast. There is a bird reserve at Tetney Haven, a colony of grey seals at Donna Nook and Marsh Orchids at Rumac. On the marsh the quiet lanes and footpaths offer excellent opportunities for walking and cycling. Apeaceful villages to sweeping views of the coastal plain, and shipping on the estuary beyond. The seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea with their wide sandy beaches, and the large holiday resort of Cleethorpes and Skegness are within easy reach Further afield is the important City of Lincoln with its Cathedral and Castle. Gainsborough Old Hall, the Fishing Heritage Centre at Grimsby and the Humber Bridge.

Having passed though North Somercotes heading north on the A1031, turn sharp left at the BT phone box which is approximately 100 metres beyond the Conishome sign, into church lane. Wickham house is 100 metres on the left hand side.
