| The whole of North Wales is beautiful, but few areas compare to the Ceiriog Valley. Llanarmon D.C. is at the heart of the Upper Ceiriog: the most remote, most beautiful part of the valley, set against the backdrop of the Berwyn Mountains.
The Hand at Llanarmon, very much a centre of village life, is a centuries old inn which embraces travellers and regulars alike, with roaring log fires in winter, and a terrace garden for warmer days.
We’ve built a strong reputation for superb cuisine, freshly prepared with informal flair and generosity by our three wonderful chefs. We have now been awarded an AA rosette for the quality of our food, as well as an AA ‘egg-cup’ for outstanding breakfasts.

Things To Do
|
| This is wonderful walking country, but horse riding, off-road quad-biking, white-water canoeing, abseiling, shooting, in fact virtually any country pursuit, can be arranged nearby. Some beautiful National Trust properties are within easy reach, as well as the lovely towns of Chester and Shrewsbury. Snowdonia, with its awe-inspiring landscape, is just over an hour's drive away, as are Portmeirion Italianate village and the beaches of North and West Wales. |

| Turn off the main A5 into Chirk and follow the B4500, signposted Glyn Ceiriog. Llanarmon D.C. is 11 miles up the valley - just when you think there's nothing but sheep, you'll come into the village and The Hand will be in front of you. Please note that there are Hand Hotels in Chrik and Llangollen, but neither is in any way associated with us. |
