| Hillview Cottage Guest House offers traditional B&B accommodation in Central Scotland in an ideal location to tour the premier sites of the area. These include Stirling Castle, Wallace’s Monument, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and The Trossachs. Nestling on the edge of the Highland, day trips include Oban, Fort William, Alloway, The Isle of Skye, Perth, St Andrews and for the keen motorist, even Inverness. All our rooms are ensuite and on the ground floor, which offers a high level of comfort, privacy and safety. We have two large lounges complete with books brochures and games, for the weary traveller to rest and relax in after an exciting day on the trail! We have chickens that offer us fresh organic eggs, and all other breakfast ingredients are sourced locally. Internet access is available to guests. Come and share Hillview Cottage, where good service is tailored to individual need.

Things To Do
|
| Stirling is in the perfect location for visiting all the main areas of central Scotland. Hillview Cottage is only minutes from Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Stirling is steeped in history, where the battles for Scottish Independence were fought out with such characters as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Rob Roy.
We are a short drive to Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews and Loch Lomond, and some even take the train to Inverness for the day, arriving back in time for dinner.
Monty Python fans may be excited to know that MP&The Holy Grail was filmed at Doune Castle 3 miles up the road, and at Loch Tay, 35 miles up the road.
Walks through the Trossachs are a not to be missed experience, and a trip on the steam boat on Loch Katrine give the most splendid views anywhere in Scotland. |

Directions

| Approaching Stirling from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness you should be on the M9 motorway. Leave at junction 10 which is next to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, and drive up to the roundabout. Leave et the first major exit following the signs for Callander, Safari Park and A84. Travel alon the A84 for about 7 minutes, and turn left onto the B8075 in the direction of Gargunnock. Hillview Cottage is the first cottage on the left hadn side, about 75 yards.
