Originally a maltings, Carol’s Bed & Breakfast is a privately owned house in a listed building conversion in the village of Newton of Falkland. Located beneath the East Lomond Hill, we are within a mile of Falkland Palace in the centre of the Kingdom of Fife.

Things To Do

We are centrally situated for many excellent golf courses, cycling routes and walking trails up hills or through forests. Within an hour’s drive you can be amongst the beautiful Scottish lochs, glens and towering munros, hill walking, canyoning or white water rafting – or just quietly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and exploring the history in the castles and palaces.

		Double Room We offer a double and a family bedroom with en-suite facilities. Each room has a courtesy tray, hair dryer, TV and radio, information leaflets and books.	Room Rate Prices are from £25 per person per night.

Directions

From South (Forth Road Bridge) A90 becomes M90. Leave M90 at Junction 2a (A92 Glenrothes). Follow the A92 over 5 roundabouts and in the village of Freuchie turn left onto the B936 signposted Falkland. After a mile, on entering Newton of Falkland, find North Maltings on the left opposite the Village Hall.
