Things To Do

| St Andrews is known the world over as 'The Home of Golf'. It has six golf courses in the town, including the world famous Old Course. But there is much more to St Andrews than golf, such as stunning award-winning beaches. We also have an aquarium, a cinema, the Byre Theatre, the delightful botanic gardens, the University with its glorious quadrangles and architecture, a castle and cathedral dating from medieval times and various interesting museums exploring the town's fascinating history.
The local area provides a wealth of interest, particularly the East Neuk with its picturesque fishing villages and boat trips and which is also home to arts and music festivals. Those of you interested in visiting houses and gardens owned by the National Trust for Scotland will find many within easy reach e.g. Kellie Castle, Falkland Palace and Hill of Tarvit, Cupar.
Outdoor lovers will find there is excellent walking including the Fife Coastal Path. |

The Struan suite is on the ground floor and includes a spacious bedroom with superking double (or twin beds), well equipped shower room and comfortably furnished lounge. French doors lead onto the garden where we have table and chairs for your use.
We hope we've thought of everything that will make your stay in Struan as comfortable as possible. We've provided tea and coffee making facilities (including various teas, coffee, fruit teas and hot chocolate) and a small fridge for your personal use. We also provide bottled water, fresh fruit and biscuits. You will find a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and space to store golf clubs if required. In the recently refurbished shower room you'll find a shaver point as well as complimentary toiletries. In addition to a selection of books, magazines and DVDs we have provided plenty of leaflets and information on the local area including sample menus from many of the local restaurants, taxi numbers and information on local attractions. | Room Rate

Directions

| St Andrews is a fifteen minute journey by taxi or bus from Leuchars Railway Station.
Edinburgh Airport is approximately one hour's drive.
Dundee Airport is aproximately 30 minutes by car/taxi.
By Car
On entering St Andrews on the A91 go straight through the first two mini-roundabouts onto North Street following signs for the A917 to Crail and Anstruther.
Go along North Street past the cinema, swinging round past the Cathedral.
At the next mini-roundabout go left (still following signs for A917 Crail, Anstruther) and continue past the Byre Theatre until you reach a double mini-roundabout.
At the second part of this roundabout take the exit marked The Grange and continue onto Grange Road for a short distance before taking the first right onto Kinkell Terrrace then first left into Priestden Road.
Struan is located towards the end of the street on the right. |
