| BEADNELL - although a traditional fishing village, makes THE ideal base for Holy Island, the Farne Islands, the castles of Alnwick, Bamburgh, Chillingham, Dunstanburgh, Floors and Warkworth. Other attractions such as Cragside, Paxton House, Kielder Water, the Cheviot Hills, the Metro Centre, Berwick-upon-Tweed, The Alnwick Garden and the dramatic vista of the Scottish Borders are all within easy reach on uncluttered roads (weekly car parking permits covering Alnwick, Berwick & Castle Morpeth are available for only £9.00). Various water sports, golf and horse riding are all to hand, or you may like to simply explore the award winning Beadnell Bay and discover the rugged yet beautiful coastline of North Northumberland, 'The Secret Kingdom', for yourselves. |
