| Torguish House, situated in the beautiful Nairn Valley, is the perfect base for exploring the highlands. The house was built as Daviot manse prior to the Jacobean uprising of 1715, and was the childhood home of late author Alistair McClean.
Recently refurbished to a high standard, we now offer 8 rooms, all ensuite, including larger family or group rooms, and luxury four poster rooms. Tea & coffee making facilities and colour televisions are also provided.
For those wishing to self-cater we have 4 barn conversion cottages, sleeping 2 - 4.
Ample car parking is available as is undercover motorcycle parking with secure ground anchors.

Things To Do

| Guests are invited to explore the wooded grounds or relax in the walled garden and marval at the peacocks, or for those wishing to see something of the highlands, Inverness is just 4 miles north, and Loch Ness, Culloden battlefield, Clava Cairns and even Orkney are all easily accesible in a day. |

Directions
|
| Daviot is divided by the A9 dual carriageway just 4 miles south of Inverness.
Approaching from the north;
Take the A9 south from Inverness. Torguish House is on your left, accessed directly from the A9, approximately 400 meters beyond the B851 road to Croy.
Approaching from the south;
Follow the A9 north towards Inverness. The A9 enters Daviot shortly before the B851 to Fort Augustus. Staying on the A9, you will see Daviot Church on your left. Torguish House is opposite, on the right hand side of the carriageway. Although there is access across the central reservation, it is safer to continue north for 200 meters and make a u-turn at the B851 Croy junction. Returning south on the A9 Torguish House is on your left.
