1745 Lairds house sympathetically restored into a comfortable and welcoming family run B&B. All rooms are en suite with tea and coffee making things and Satelite TV, DVDS and videos.The double room boasts a four poster bed. We have private parking and 7 acres of gardens for you to enjoy, the River Douglas dashes on its way down to Loch Fyne through our grounds.Our guests are greeted in the residents lounge on arrival with a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits.

INVERARAY CASTLE; THE JAIL: ARGYLL ADVENTURE (see below) AUCHINDRAIN OPEN AIR MUSEUM (AN OLD HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP): A MAGNIFICENT FOREST DRIVE OVER THE HILLS TO LOCH AWE:THE ARCTIC PENGUIN -MARITIME MUSEUM: CRARAE GARDENS: INVERARAY GOLF COURSE: THE WHISKY SHOP: LOCH AWE POWER STATION (THE HOLLOW MOUNTAIN) 1-2 HOURS DRIVE; THE BEAUTIFUL COWAL PENINSULAR; THE ISLE OF BUTE AND MOUNT STUART; THE KINTYRE PENINSULAR, LOVELY BEACHES; CAMBELTOWN; CRINAN CANAL; FORT WILLIAM; GLASGOW; OBAN; THE ISLES OF MULL, IONA AND STAFFA ALSO GIGHA; KILMARTIN HOUSE MUSEUM (CELTIC ROOTS AND ARCHAEOLOGY); STIRLING AND ITS SPECTACULAR CASTLE. The surrounding countryside is of course perfect for walking, riding, and golf, cycling and fishing.

Directions

WE are 4 miles from Inveraray on the A83 going South towards Lochgilphead and Campbeltown. After passing Argyll Adventure ond then the caravan park on the left the road climbs abd then drops dwon again. you will see our B&B sign on the left with a picture of a duck on it. Turn into the layby and up the forest road a very hort way where you will find us on the left.
