Murray House has 5 en-suite bedrooms, a well appointed dining room with lounge area, a sheltered garden with secure off-road parking. We offer evening meals by arrangement and have a table licence. Packed lunches are provided on request. We offer a vegetarian breakfast and use fresh local produce for all our meals.

Things To Do

Caithness has an ideal landscape for walkers, cyclists to explore. There are quiet sandy beaches to stroll with rugged cliffs holding an abundance of birdlife, there are hills to climb, rivers and lochs to fish and big skies to experience the Northern Lights. John O'Groats from where you can take a day trip to the Orkney Islands and Dunnet Head Britain's most northerly point are nearby. The late Queen Mother's Castle of Mey is approx 10 miles away. Thurso is well featured on the surfing map and regularly hosts world competitions.

We are situated on the main A9 road, 113 miles north of Inverness, and can easily be found in Thurso town centre opposite the Bank of Scotland.
