| Ravenscourt House is a family run 8-bedroom boutique hotel, benefiting from a 4-star Visit Scotland grading. The house was stonebuilt in the Edwardian era and is situated just two minutes stroll from the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, a charming small town with a distinct village ambience, located amidst breathtaking countryside on the northern edge of the Cairngorms National Park.
All of the bedrooms are presented to a high standard with period furnishings featuring throughout, along with all the amenities essential to ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. Seven out of the eight rooms are ensuite and one has access to a luxury private bathroom.
The hotel is included in the 2007 Michelin Guide, has been nominated for inclusion in the forthcoming Good Hotel Guide and its restaurant is a member of the Scotch Beef Club. The spectacular conservatory restaurant offers a choice of an a la carte or bistro style menu with options available to suit all budgets. However, both menus are uncompromising in their use of fresh locally sourced produce.
There are two lounges available to residents where you can relax after an exciting day exploring the local area and Scotland, share your experiences with fellow guests and plan your next day ahead. Or why not just sit back with a good book, have a warm drink or spoil yourself with a malt whisky (the water of life) there are over fifty, specially selected, from which to choose.
Flights are available from most UK airports including London Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham International, East Midlands and Manchester. The Hotel is approximately 40-minutes drive from Inverness Airport.

Things To Do
|
| There are a large number of activities and things to do in the area. The hotel is situated on the world famous Whisky trail and there are a large number of Castles in the surrounding area. In particular, Balmoral is less than an hours’ drive from Ravenscourt House. The hotel is situated in close proximity to both the Cairngorm Mountain and Lecht Ski centre making it an ideal base for Skiers, Climbers and Walkers. The River Spey, that runs through Grantown, is renowned for the quality of its Salmon fishing and the hotel is also equipped with gun cabinets making it an ideal base for those visiting the area for its shooting.
There are a large number of golf courses in the surrounding area including a number of championship courses. Loch Ness is less than an hours’ drive from the hotel. The area has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and is renowned for its wildlife.

Directions
|
| From Aberdeen Take the A96 from Aberdeen to Keith. Take the A95 left and head for Aberlour, pass through Aberlour and follow the A95 all the way to Grantown-on-Spey. From Inverness Take the A9 from Inverness. Travel all the way until you see the sign for Carrbridge follow this and you then see the sign for Grantown-on-Spey. From Aviemore Take the A96 follow signs to Grantown-on-Spey. On entering Grantown the Seafield Avenue turning is next to The Bank of Scotland off the high street, drive approx 50mtrs and Ravenscourt House is on your right hand side. |
