All rooms are en-suite, some with original stone fireplaces and beamed ceilings and all have TV, well-stocked tea-tray, hairdryers and a host of little extras to make your stay more comfortable.Licensed evening meals are available if required (the owners formerly ran an Egon-Ronay recommended restaurant). Ideal centre from which to explore Northumberland Hills, Alnwick Castle, Hadrian's Wall, Lindisfarne and the Heritage Coastline, as well as the Northumberland National Park and Scottish Border country.

Things To Do

The area is renowned for its unspoilt hills and is an all-year-round magnet for walkers, cyclists and golfers. It is also wonderful motoring country - traffic jams are unknown and the views superb. Northumberland has an abundance of castles and stately homes. Alnwick Castle and gardens are only 20 minutes drive, Cragside House is just a mile away and visitors must see Hadrian's Wall and the castles at Lindisfarne, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. Berwick upon Tweed and the Scottish Borders are only 45/50 minutes away (even Edinburgh takes just over 90 minutes!)

All 3 rooms have 4-poster beds and are en-suite (2 with showers and 1 with bath+shower). All are equipped with hairdryers, a range of quality bathroom toiletries, mini fridges, a widely stocked tea tray (and home-made scones at tea-time!)		Room Rate
Rate for two persons sharing a double room is £34 per person per night for one night's stay, £32.50 for two and £31 for 3 nights or more.

Directions

Katerina's is situated close to the top of the High Street - just minutes from pubs, shops and restaurants but still quiet and cosy.
Visitors arriving from the main A697 road should follow the B6344 into Rothbury. The High Street is parallel to the main road through but off to the right (just look for the shops!). Drive up the High Street until you are past the shops; you will see the "Turks Head" on your right - Katerina's is just another 80 yards or so on the same side.
